One for all is a hit song by Zlatko from 2001. The song was a contribution to the German preliminary decision of the Eurovision Song Contest 2001 , Countdown Grand Prix 2001 .
Creation and publication
The song was written and produced by Bob Arnz and Christoph Siemons . The single was released on February 19, 2001 and contains, in addition to the 3:00 minute long Grand Prix Mix, the 3:13 minute long Plastic Mix, the 3:14 minute long Classic Mix and the instrumental version of the Grand Prix Mix.
During the TV appearance at the ESC preliminary decision, Zlatko was greeted with loud boos, whereupon he resigned with the exclamation “Thank you, you pukes!”. Other versions of the exclamation have also survived; the appearance in front of ten million viewers abruptly ended its media presence. With 3.7 percent of the vote, Zlatko reached sixth place out of twelve participants.
