I stay who I am is the first studio album by the German singer Zlatko , a participant in the first season of Big Brother . It was released in 2000.

background

Trpkovski gained particular audience attention during his time with Big Brother . The first single Ich miss' Dich (wie die Hölle) , recorded just 18 hours after the excerpt from the Big Brother house , which was followed live by thousands of viewers , immediately made it to number one in Germany in May 2000, as did the single Big brother with Jürgen Milski . He became friends with the latter during the TV show, which he described as "fake" in 2019. In early July 2000 the album was released, which was recorded with producers Bob Arnz and Christoph Siemons .

The album reached number seven in the German charts, number 26 in Austria and number 27 in Switzerland .
