Eire Rautenberg (born April 4, 1956 in Dortmund ) is a German writer.

Life

From 1972 to 1980 she worked as an administrative clerk at the Dortmund city administration. In 1984 she founded the first esoteric specialist bookstore Pentagram in Dortmund . She then lived in Portugal in the Algarve for three years . There she wrote her first book, the autobiographical novel Dona da Casa: Eine Liebe in Portugal , which was later published as a paperback under the title Mistress of the House . When she returned in 1991, she sold her specialist bookstore Pentagram. She wrote several specialist articles for various magazines, such as Tattva Viveka and Sphinx Verlag .

Today she works as a freelance writer and as a lecturer in various adult education centers in North Rhine-Westphalia in the field of poetry, including at the VHS Schwerte and the VHS Witten . She lives in Schwerte .
