David Stoop

David Christopher Stoop (born October 4, 1983 in Engelskirchen ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ) and has been a member of the Hamburg Parliament since 2020 .

Life

David Stoop grew up in Bielstein . He studied social sciences, English, German and education at the universities in Cologne and Durham (Great Britain). He then worked as a research assistant at Cologne University and then worked in the field of youth education at the DGB-Jugend . He moved to Hamburg in 2015 and is employed by the German Employees Academy (DAA) .

politics

Stoop joined the party Die Linke in 2007, of which he has been the Hamburg state spokesman since 2017. In the 2020 election for Hamburg citizenship , he moved over the state list place 2.
