Heidi Reichinnek

Heidi Reichinnek (born April 19, 1988 in Merseburg ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ). She has been the state chairman of Left Lower Saxony since March 2, 2019 and was a member of the state spokesman's council of linksjugend [ˈsolid] Lower Saxony from 2017 to the beginning of 2019 .

Life

From 2007 to 2013 Heidi Reichinnek studied Politics and Economics and dealt with the Near and Middle East . After completing her master's degree, she worked as a research assistant at the Center for Near and Middle Eastern Studies at the Philipps University of Marburg . She later became involved in the education of refugee children and young people by teaching language skills, among other things.

Heidi Reichinnek is co-founder and long-time spokeswoman and treasurer of the linksjugend [ˈsolid] Osnabrück and ran for the Left Party in the 2017 state election in Lower Saxony. She describes herself as a socialist, feminist and anti-fascist. At the state party conference of the Left Lower Saxony, she received the vote of over 86% of the delegates and has since become the youngest state chairman of the Left Party.
