Railway traffic regulations

The Eisenbahn-Verkehrsordnung (EVO) of September 8, 1938 is a legal provision in Germany that deals with the transport of people and luggage by public railways .

The first railway traffic regulations in Germany came into force on November 15, 1892. This was subsequently replaced by regulations of the same name on October 26, 1899, December 23, 1908 and May 16, 1928, before the regulation that still applies today came into force on September 8, 1938.
