The railway bridge Gamburg is a railway bridge the railway line Lauda-Wertheim within the boundaries of the Werbacher hamlet Gamburg in Main-Tauber-Kreis in Baden-Wuerttemberg .

History and description

The Grand Ducal Baden State Railways put the bridge into operation in 1868 when the line opened. It is located immediately after the Gamburg train station in the direction of Tauberbischofsheim . The length of the steel bridge is 95 meters from route kilometers 18.834 to 18.893. The bridge leads with three openings over the state road 506 and the Tauber .

Monument protection

The bridge stands as part of the entirety of "Badische Tauber Valley Railway" under monument protection .
