The Weikersheim Railway Bridge is a railway bridge on the Crailsheim – Koenigshofen line on the outskirts of the city of Weikersheim in the Main-Tauber district in Baden-Württemberg .

History and description

The Weikersheim railway bridge also crosses the Taubertal cycle path

The bridge was put into operation on October 18, 1869 with the opening of the line from Crailsheim to Bad Mergentheim.

The railway bridge follows after the Weikersheim train station in the direction of Elpersheim, Markelsheim and Bad Mergentheim . The length of the vault bridge or arch bridge is 105 meters. The bridge leads over the Taubertal cycle path and the Tauber .

Monument protection

The railway bridge is available as part of the entirety of the "Württembergische Tauber Valley Railway" under monument protection .
