Jaunpur railway accident

The Jaunpur railway accident was a bomb attack on July 28, 2005 on the Shramjivi Express near Jaunpur , in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh , in which 13 people died.

Starting position

The train was traveling between Patna and New Delhi . In Jaunpur, two young men with a white suitcase jumped up on departure. After half an hour, the two attempted twice the emergency brake to pull, for the first time in the station of Badalpur , then again at the station Singarmau where the train schedule , but did not succeed did not stop. According to official information, the Students Islamic Movement of India (SIMI) should have been responsible for the attack, even if the perpetrators could not be arrested.
