The Schoren ice rink is an ice rink in the town of Langenthal in the Swiss canton of Bern . The curling hall is located adjacent to the main building. In the ice rink there is a restaurant, public cloakrooms reserved for players and various catering stands, which are only open during the hockey games. In addition to the league games, the hall is also used as a training location and for public ice skating with ice skate rental.
history
The Schoren artificial ice rink was built as an open ice rink in 1961 and equipped with a roof in 1980. It is home to the Swiss League's SC Langenthal ice hockey club and has 4,320 seats, 820 of which are seats. The ice rink is also used for public ice skating. From 2002 to 2005 the hall was rebuilt and the capacity increased from 4,100 to 4,320.
