The ice rink Graben ( French Patinoire de Graben ) is an ice rink in the city of Siders ( French Sierre ) in the Swiss canton of Valais . It was completed in 1958 as an open-air ice rink and equipped with a roof in 1977. It serves as the home ground for the HC Sierre ice hockey club . There is space for 4,500 spectators, 2,700 of which are seats. By 2003, 6,400 places were available; for safety reasons, the number had to be reduced. The ice rink is also used for public ice skating.
