Ice Age Route Mecklenburg Lake District
The Mecklenburg Lake District Ice Age Route is a touristic circular cycle route with a total length of 666 km in the southeast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . It leads through a landscape that shows the traces of the last ice age in the Mecklenburg Lake District by bike. It connects ten action centers of the Mecklenburg Ice Age Landscape Geopark .
The Mecklenburg Lake District Ice Age Route consists of an outer ring that is over 400 km long, which is divided into nine individual tours, as well as five circular routes that have something to offer (almost) every cyclist. Mecklenburg with its landscape design from the Ice Age allows insights into the Ice Age past at many stations in the Geopark. Display boards, erratic gardens , museums and nature trails along the route help.
