Ekali ( Greek Εκάλη ( f. Sg. )) Is a northern suburb of Athens and was from 1943 to 2010 an independent municipality ( Greek Δήμος , Dimos ) in the northeast of the Athens prefecture of the Attica region in Greece . Due to the administrative reform in 2010 , Ekali was merged with Kifisia and Nea Erythrea to form the new municipality of Kifisia .

Ekali has a population of 5770 inhabitants.
