Ekaphan Inthasen ( Thai : เอก พันธ์ อิน ทะ เสน , born September 23, 1983 in Surat Thani ) is a Thai football player on the position of a midfielder , who can also be used on the position of a striker . He plays for Chonburi FC in the Thai Premier League .
Career
society
Ekaphan was born in Surat Thani and started his career in the youth team of his home club FC Surat Thani at the age of 16. In 2002 he moved to the youth team at Bangkok Bank and from 2004 played for the senior division of the club. In 2006 he went to Vietnam for one season to join ĐịPM Nam Định in the V-League . But he couldn't win a title there either and ended up ninth in the table with the club. He then returned to Thailand to the Bangkok Bank . At the beginning of the 2008 season he moved to the then reigning champions FC Chonburi , for whom he still plays today. He has won two Super Cups with him so far and was runner-up in 2008. In the 2008 AFC Champions League season, he was used five times. In 2009 he played in the AFC Cup with his current club .
National team
For the national team in 2005 he was in the U-21 squad and in the U-23 squad for the Southeast Asian Games . At the Southeast Asian Games in 2005 he won the gold medal with the U-23. 2006 Ekaphan had his first missions for the senior team. But has not yet been able to establish himself in the national team.
