The Thailand U-17 national soccer team is a selection team of Thai soccer players . It is subject to the Football Association of Thailand and represents it internationally at the U-17 level , for example in friendly matches against the national teams of other national associations, at the U-16 Asian Cup and the U-17 World Cup .
The team became Asian champions in Qatar in 1998 and vice-Asian champions in their own country in 1996 . In her two World Cup participations in 1997 and 1999 , she was eliminated from the preliminary round without points.
