The 13th U-16 Asian Football Championship was held in 2008 in Uzbekistan . The tournament started on October 4th and ended on October 19th . The winner was Iran with a 2; 1 victory against South Korea . The two finalists qualified with the two defeated semi-finalists United Arab Emirates and Japan for the 2009 U-17 World Cup .
