The 16th U-16 Asian Football Championship was held in Thailand in 2014 . The tournament started on September 6th and ended on September 20th . The winner was North Korea by a 2: 1 victory over South Korea . The two finalists qualified with the two losing semi-finalists Australia and Syria for the 2015 U-17 World Cup .
