The tenth U-17 soccer Asian Cup was held in 2002 in the United Arab Emirates . The tournament started on September 6th and ended on September 22nd . South Korea was victorious by beating Yemen on penalties . The two finalists qualified with Third China for the 2003 U-17 World Cup .

Result
The finalists South Korea and Yemen as well as third China qualified for the 2003 U-17 World Cup .
After the tournament, the national teams of Pakistan and Yemen were suspended for the 2004 Asian Cup because they used players who were over the age limit.
