Eko Rimbawan (born July 29, 1995 ) is an Indonesian sprinter .

Athletic career

Eko Rimbawan gained his first international experience at the Southeast Asian Games 2017 in Kuala Lumpur , where he won the silver medal in the Indonesian 4 x 100 meter relay in 39.05 seconds. In 2018 he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time, was disqualified there in the 200-meter run and won the silver medal behind the team from Japan in the Indonesian relay in 38.77 seconds. The following year he retired from the Asian Championships in Doha with the relay with 39.96 s in advance. Even at the World Relays in Yokohama , he did not reach the final in 39.39 s. In July he retired from the Summer Universiade in Naples with 10.67 seconds in advance. At the beginning of December, he came in fifth at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in 21.22 s and came fourth with the relay in 40.12 s.

In 2019, Rimbawan became the Indonesian champion in the 200-meter run.
