Eladio Vera (born May 6, 1948 in Villarrica ) is a former Paraguayan football player on the position of a striker .

Life

Eladio Vera Arias began his active career in 1967 at Club Cerro Porteño .

After a year he moved to Club River Plate de Paraguay , for which he scored eight goals in 16 appearances. In 1969 he completed a trial training at Real Madrid .

After the failed deal with the "royal", Vera returned to Paraguay and then played for the Guaraní club . In 1971 he followed the call of the CD Cruz Azul and from then on played in the Mexican Primera División . Right at the beginning of his time with the Cementeros , he won the championship title three times in a row with Cruz Azul .

In 1977 he moved to league competitor Tecos UAG , where he let his active career end.

Between 1969 and 1977 Eladio Vera made nine international matches for Paraguay .
