The Elbbergbrücke is a road bridge in Hamburg near Kaistraße. It crossed the tracks of the Altona port railway that used to exist here in the Altona-Altstadt district .

The building is registered with the number 26369 by the Hamburg Authority for Culture and Media as a monument . The Elbbergbrücke , which was built in 1844 at the same time as the Altona-Kieler Railway , was repaired in 2000.

The name of the bridge is derived from the Elbberg , the area of the Geestrück , which drops here parallel to Kaistraße 25 meters deep in the direction of the Elbe bank and Grosse Elbstraße and was known at the time as the "inclined plane".

Georgine Fries created a painting with this bridge in 1855 (original in the Altonaer Museum). The high chimney on the left edge of the picture belonged to the steam engine at that time for the cable pull for the freight cars of the railroad to the Altona Kai port station.
