Elde is a small village in the Norwegian municipality of Bremanger in the Vestland province .

It is located on the south bank of the Nordfjord . The Eldeelva stream flows through the village from the east before it flows into the Nordfjord. At the Eldeelva there is a concession for the operation of the hydropower plant Elde kraftverk . The Fv616 runs through the village and runs from Kalvåg via Bremanger in the west to Isane in the east.

Around 1940, Andreas M. Elde founded the Elde stolfabrikk in Elde . With a few employees, chairs made of birch wood, tables and sideboards were made here until shortly after the Second World War . Today (as of 2020), the salmon rearing and processing company K Strømmen Lakseoppdrett AS has a branch in Elde.

Two areas are registered as archaeological sites in the place.
