The Eldorado River is a 50 km long left tributary of the Flambeau River in western Alaska .
The Eldorado River rises 7 km southeast of Salmon Lake in the southwest of the Seward Peninsula . It initially flows 5 km to the west before turning south. To the north, a 174 m high pass separates the catchment area of the Eldorado River from that of the Pilgrim River, which runs north . The Eldorado River flows through a wide valley in a southerly direction and meets the Flambeau River in the coastal plain , 8 km above its confluence with Safety Sound and 24 km east of the city of Nome .
