Eleanor Montgomery
Eleanor Montgomery ( Eleanor Inez Montgomery; born November 13, 1946 in Cleveland ; † December 28, 2013 ibid.) Was an American high jumper .
In 1963 she won the Pan American Games in São Paulo . At the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 1964, she was eighth.
At the Pan American Games in Winnipeg in 1967 , she defended her title, and at the Olympic Games in Mexico City in 1968 she was eliminated from the qualification.
She was US champion (1963-1967, 1969) and US indoor champion (1963, 1964, 1966-1969) six times. She set her personal best of 1.80 m on July 6, 1969 in Dayton .
2013, it was in the Hall of Fame of USA Track & Field added.
