The Electromuseum in Baden , Canton Aargau , Switzerland, is one of a good 40 objects on the Limmat-Wasserschloss Industrial Culture Trail . The electric museum is located on the Limmat in the rooms of the Kappelerhof hydropower plant . It belongs to the Regionalwerke AG Baden.

The museum houses historical devices and equipment from power plants, industry and private households, which clearly show how electricity was generated, transported and consumed in the past . The showpiece of the collection is a complete historical machine group. The drained chamber for the turbine installed in 1918 , the impressive wooden cogwheel or the generator from 1925 show how hydropower plants used to work.
