Alena Dubkowa ( Belarusian Алена Дубкова; born September 11, 1991 in Minsk ) is a Belarusian table tennis player . With the team she won medals twice at European championships . She is right-handed and uses the European shakehand stick position as a handle .
Career
Dubkova is a defender . She performed internationally for the first time in 2005. In total, she took part in two European Schoolchildren Championships and two European Youth Championships. She also played in youth world championships, but never came close to medal ranks there.
From 2008 she took part in adult tournaments more often, and in 2010 and 2011 she and the team won a bronze medal at the European Championships. The Belarusian also had four appearances in world championships, where she reached the second round twice with the team.
