Elfriede Fröschl

Elfriede Fröschl (* 1958 in Vienna ) is an Austrian sociologist and social worker .

She is co-founder of the first Austrian women's shelter and employee of the advisory center for women's shelters in Vienna . She looks back on extensive freelance teaching and research activities, was a lecturer at the Federal Social Academy in Vienna as well as at Austrian universities of applied sciences courses and at European universities as part of the ERASMUS lecturer mobility. In addition, she was active in the implementation of seminars, among other things as part of the training and further education of the police on the subject of " violence in the family ".

Elfriede Fröschl currently teaches and researches as a university professor at the FH Campus Wien in the Department of Social Affairs, including the European Master’s program SOWOSEC and the Bachelor’s degree in Social Work .
