Elfriede Marmann-Kunz

Elfriede Marmann-Kunz (born May 30, 1952 in Wittlich ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

Marmann-Kunz attended elementary school in Wittlich from 1959 to 1967 . She then did an apprenticeship as a notary assistant , and has been working in this profession ever since. She is married and has one child.

politics

In 1973 Marmann-Kunz joined the SPD. From 1989 to 1999 she was a councilor in Wittlich, and in 1999 she became an honorary alderman of the city. She was also elected in the city council election in 2009 and became an alderman for the city of Wittlich.

Marmann-Kunz was on 28 April 2010 during the current 15th term as Nachrückerin member of the Parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate . She was the successor to Dieter Burgard, who left the State of Rhineland-Palatinate when he was elected Ombudsman . For personal reasons, Marmann-Kunz did not stand for the state election in March 2011.
