Elfriede Mayrhofer

Elfriede Mayrhofer (born February 18, 1958 in Vienna ) is an Austrian civil servant and district chief in the Krems-Land district .

education and profession

The daughter of a judge completed her studies in law at the University of Salzburg after attending a music-pedagogical secondary school , which she received with the academic degree Dr. iur. Graduated in 1984. Subsequently, she did the court year at the Mittersill District Court and the Salzburg Regional Court. As a result, she joined the Lower Austrian provincial service in the district administration of Amstetten in 1985 as a lawyer .

In 1993 she was appointed district captain's deputy in the Scheibbs district , in which position she moved to the Melk district in 1995 . In 1998 she became the first woman to be district captain in Lower Austria. On October 1, 2011, she moved to the Krems-Land district as district captain . She followed Werner Nikisch , who was retiring.

She was a member of the Austria Convention from June 30, 2003 to January 31, 2005 . She was also the district manager of the Melk Red Cross .

Elfriede Mayrhofer prefers to be addressed as district captain .

She is widowed.
