Elia Antonio Alberini

Elia Antonio Alberini OCD (born December 7, 1812 in Fusignano ; † May 8, 1876 ) was Bishop of Ascoli Piceno .

Alberini joined the Order of the Discalced Carmelites at and received on 13 June 1835 sacrament of Holy Orders .

On June 16, 1856 he was by Pope Pius IX. appointed Bishop of Montefeltro . The Pope himself donated his episcopal ordination on July 6th of the same year.

Pius IX appointed Alberini on March 23, 1860 as bishop of Ascoli Piceno . At the First Vatican Council Alberini took part as a council father.
