Eliahu Speiser

Eliahu Speiser (born March 23, 1930 in Haifa , † November 12, 2009 ) was an Israeli politician.

Speiser studied bacteriology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem , and economics and law at the University of Paris .

He joined the Mapai in 1965 . He later became the Vice Mayor of Tel Aviv . From June 13, 1977 to November 21, 1988 Speiser sat in the Knesset for the Avoda party , in which the Mapai was absorbed in 1968 .
