Elias Khoury Slaiman Slaiman (born August 16, 1951 in Hekr Semaan ) is a Syrian priest and bishop of Latakia .

Life

Elias Khoury Slaiman Slaiman was ordained a priest on August 29, 1987 . Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Latakia on January 16, 2012, and he was inducted into office on February 26 of the same year.

He was ordained episcopate on February 25th of the same year by the Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and the whole Orient, Béchara Pierre Raï OMM ; Co - consecrators were Youssef Anis Abi-Aad IdP , Archbishop of Aleppo , and Antoine Nabil Andari , Curia Bishop in Antioch .
