Massoud Massoud (born April 28, 1940 in Kafroun ) is emeritus Maronite bishop of Latakia .

Life

Massoud Massoud was ordained a priest on August 2, 1970 and was incardinated in the clergy of the Apostolic Administration of Laodicea .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Latakia on June 23, 2001. He was ordained bishop by the Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and the whole of the Orient, Nasrallah Pierre Cardinal Sfeir , on September 8 of the same year; Co - consecrators were Youhanna Fouad El-Hage , Archbishop of Tripoli del Libano , and Roland Aboujaoudé , Auxiliary Bishop in Antioch .

He resigned from his office on January 16, 2012.
