Archeparchy Tripoli del Libano ( lat. Tripolitanus Maronitarum ) is the Roman Catholic Church Uniate archeparchy the Maronite -arabischen Christians in Lebanon . Georges Bou-Jaoudé is the Metropolitan of the Archeparch .
history
In terms of church history, the Tripoli Archeparchy was founded in the 17th century AD . Its headquarters are in the second largest city of the same name in Lebanon, Tripoli . In 1950, the number of Maronite Christians in the Archeparch was approximately 77,000.
