Gabriel Toubia
Gabriel Toubia (born August 15, 1930 in Darbechtar , Lebanon , † April 6, 1997 ) was the Maronite Archbishop of Tripoli in Lebanon.
Life
Gabriel Toubia was ordained a priest on April 16, 1960 . His appointment as Archbishop of Tripoli took place on 2 July 1993. On 31 July 1993, he was the Maronite Patriarch of Antioch Nasrallah Pierre Cardinal Sfeir and the co-consecrators Archbishop Antoine Joubeir (its predecessor) and the auxiliary bishop in Antioch Roland Aboujaoudé consecrated bishop. During his tenure, which lasted only three years and nine months, he assisted as co-consecrator in the ordination of Joseph Khoury as titular bishop of Chonochora .
