Elijah Wald (2008)

Elijah Wald (* 1959 in Cambridge , Massachusetts) is an American guitarist and musicologist .

Life

Wald was born to George Wald and Ruth Hubbard . At the age of 18 he decided to become a guitarist and traveled the world for about twelve years. After returning to the United States, he recorded two CDs and began writing articles for the Boston Globe newspaper. In 1998, Wald began to write books. Wald has been running a blog called Songobiography since January 2016 , in which he a. a. published numerous video clips with own recordings of "classic" folk and blues songs including background information and own thoughts on them.
