Elisabeth Baldauf
Elisabeth Baldauf (born August 3, 1990 ) is a former Austrian badminton player , Olympian (2016) and multiple national champion.
Career
Elisabeth Baldauf grew up in Egg (Vorarlberg) .
In 2009 she became Austrian champion in women's doubles with Belinda Heber . In 2011 she participated in the Mixed at the BWF World Championships in part, reaching there with Roman Zirnwald the 17th Place. At the 2016 Summer Olympics , she took part in the women's singles for Austria .
In April 2018, the 27-year-old declared her active career over and justified her decision with health problems and a lack of support from the association.
Baldauf is in a relationship with badminton player David Obernosterer .
