The Elisabeth Entz was built in 1961 by AG Weser for the Thomas Entz Tanker shipping company as OBO .
history
The shipping company "Elisabeth Entz" in Rendsburg belonged to the Thomas Entz Tanker shipping company, a subsidiary of the Zerssen shipping company . In 1960 she ordered the ore oil ship from AG-Weser, which took its test drive on July 29, 1961 and was then delivered. Ore oil ships, commonly referred to as OBO, were able to complete the outward and return journey with cargo in suitable shipping areas, but the tankers and the ore freighters drove the return journey with ballast .
The ship went to the shipping company Trade Tankers Inc. in 1971 and then sailed as Trade Endeavor with its home port of Monrovia under the Liberian flag. From 1977 it ran under the Greek flag with home port Piraeus . On November 24, 1981, the Trade Endeavor was beached for scrapping in Gadani Beach and then abandoned by Habib Maritime.
