Elisabeth Huber (politician)

Elisabeth Huber (born October 10, 1990 in Schwarzach im Pongau ) is an Austrian politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). She has been a member of the Salzburg state parliament since June 2018 .

Life

After finishing elementary and secondary school in Schwarzach im Pongau, Elisabeth Huber attended the commercial academy in St. Johann im Pongau , where she graduated in 2010 . She then began studying law and economics at the University of Salzburg . In 2012 she took over the management of her parents' farm, and since 2014 she has been the assistant to the management of the Salzburg machine ring in St. Johann im Pongau. From 2012 to 2016 she acted as the regional director of the Salzburg youth organization , whose deputy regional director she was previously in 2011/12.

Elisabeth Huber has been a member of the community council in St. Veit im Pongau since 2014 , since 2016 she has been a member of the district executive committee of the ÖVP im Pongau and a member of the regional executive committee of the Salzburg farmers' union . After the state election in Salzburg in 2018 , she was on 13 June 2018 in the inaugural parliament session of the 16th legislative term as a Member of the Salzburg Parliament sworn in .
