Elisabeth Kaza (born May 9, 1924 in Kaposvár , Hungary , † January 4, 2004 in Paris , France ) was a Hungarian-French actress. She was best known for her portrayal of Virginia Broadhurst in the film La Bête - The Beast .

Life

Born in Hungary, she made her acting debut in 1966 in the French film Une femme en blanc se révolte . She then had several small roles until she starred in the 1975 film La Bête by the Polish director Walerian Borowczyk . In the bizarre horror film about an erotic encounter between a beast and a young lady, she played the role of Virginia Broadhurst, the main character's aunt.

Elisabeth Kaza has played in international productions and has worked in Italy, Germany and France, among others. In 1983 she had a role in Fellini's Ship of Dreams . In 1984 she played in Tatort: ​​Kielwasser . She mainly appeared in supporting roles. She had recurring roles in the television series Estelle (1993) and Die Bockreiter (1994). In the 1995 movie Castle Freak by Stuart Gordon had a greater role.

Elisabeth Kaza died on January 4, 2004 at the age of 79. In the year she died, four films appeared in which she had acted.
