Elisabeth Rauchberger

Elisabeth Rauchberger (born June 14, 1972 in Pinzgau ) is a Swiss paraglider pilot from Interlaken .

Motivated by countless biplace flights around her, she began flying in 1997. One year later she was already flying national competitions, two years later international competitions within the framework of the Paragliding World Cup .

  • 2002 - European Championship: 3rd place, 2 World Cup victories
  • 2003 - PWC overall ranking: 2nd place, 2 World Cup victories, team world champion,
  • 2004 - overall PWC ranking: 2nd place / Swiss Champion; 1 World Cup victory, European team champion
  • 2005 - Paragliding World Championship : 3rd place / participation in the Red Bull X-Alps as a team member of Helmut Eichholzer
  • 2006 - Austrian national champion - resigned from competitive flying
