Countess Elisabeth von Bregenz (* 1152 ; † after April 1, 1216 ) was the sole heiress of the Counts of Bregenz and, by marriage, Countess Palatine of Tübingen .

Elisabeth von Bregenz was the only daughter and heir of Count Rudolf von Bregenz from his second marriage to Wulfhild von Bayern , a daughter of the Guelph Duke Heinrich IX. of Bavaria , called Heinrich the Black . His grandson, Emperor Friedrich I Barbarossa, was therefore her first cousin.

She was the sole heiress of Montfort and Bregenz as well as other possessions in Churrätien , Tettnang and Sigmaringen .

Before May 1, 1171, she married Count Palatine Hugo II of Tübingen . She had the following children with him:

  • Heinrich, Count
  • Rudolf I Count Palatine of Tübingen († after April 1, 1219) ∞ Mathilde von Gleiberg
  • Burkard (around 1180)
  • Hugo I , Count of Bregenz and Montfort († March 12, 1230/34) ∞ Mathilde von Eschenbach-Schnabelburg, founder of the House of Montfort
