Eliza Doolittle
Eliza Doolittle (born April 15, 1988 in Westminster , London; actually Eliza Sophie Caird ) is a British singer-songwriter and former child actress. Her stage name refers to the character of the poor flower girl from the musical My Fair Lady .
Career
Caird is the daughter of theater director John Caird and musical actress Frances Ruffelle . She attended the Channing School for Girls in Highgate Village in north London. She had her first stage appearances with the Royal Shakespeare Company in the adaptations of the musicals Les Miserables (1996) and The Secret Garden (2000).
At the end of November 2009 she released her first EP called Eliza Doolittle . In April 2010 her debut single Skinny Genes was released , with which she reached the top 30 of the British charts. The recording was also in a commercial of the British clothing retail company very.co.uk used. Her first album was released on July 12, 2010.
Her second album In Your Hands was released in October 2013.
She was dating Benji Madden from the band Good Charlotte from 2011 to 2012 .
