Elizabeth Johnson

Elizabeth Johnson (born December 6, 1941 ) is an American Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

Johnson studied Roman Catholic theology at Brentwood College (1964), Manhattan College (1970) and the Catholic University of America (1981). In the 1980s she worked as a religion teacher. She has been teaching at Fordham University in New York City since 1991 . In her works she deals, among other things, with women's rights and women's ordination .
