Elke Lindemann
Elke Lindemann (* 29. May 1943 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German politician of the SPD and from 1990 to 2002 member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt .
Life and work
After completing secondary school , she trained as a commercial clerk. From 1966 to 1970 she studied commercial economics at the technical college for domestic trade in Dresden . From 1973 until she moved into the state parliament, she worked in the Schönebeck district administration .
Lindemann is married and has two children.
Political party
In January 1990, Lindemann joined the SPD.
MPs
She was a member of the first freely elected People's Chamber in the GDR. Lindemann had been a member of the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt since the first electoral term and did not run again in the 2002 state elections. She represented the constituency of Schönebeck and was a member of the committee for work, health and social affairs and deputy chairperson of the committee for equality.
