Elke Loewe

Elke Loewe (* 1940 in Celle ) is a German writer.

The trained photographer specializes in crime novels with a typically Low German touch from her home in the flat country between the Elbe and Weser on the dyke of Rönne and Oste .

But she is also the author of the only crime scene in Low German ( Watt Recht is, mutt Recht blieven , 1982) as well as the well-known characters Piggeldy and Frederick , whom she shot with the support of her husband Dieter Loewe, who has since passed away.

Today she lives in Hüll on Deutsche Krimistraße .
