Elke Vesper

Elke Vesper ( pseudonym : Elke Jacobsen , born April 2, 1949 in Hamburg ) is a German writer .

Life

Elke Vesper completed an apprenticeship as a foreign language correspondent for English , French and Spanish . From 1970 she studied German , Romance studies and philosophy at the University of Cologne . 1982 doctorate it with a dissertation on a theme from the field of Romance studies Literature for Doctor of Philosophy. This was followed by further training to become a therapist in various therapy methods. Vesper lived in France for one year and in Spain for nine years . She has a practice as a non-medical practitioner for psychotherapy and as a freelance writer based in Hamburg .

Elke Vesper has been publishing narrative works since 1983 in which she describes the fate of women - often in the form of historical and family novels. She is a member of the Association of German Writers , for whose Cologne district she temporarily acted as spokeswoman.
