Ella Ehni , b. Mayer, (born March 17, 1875 in Brooklyn , † January 28, 1952 in Zurich ) was a German politician (DDP).

Live and act

Ella Ehni was born in New York in 1875 as the daughter of a businessman . She married the ten years older businessman Gustav Georg Ehni, with whom she had a son and who died in 1918.

From 1919 to 1922 she was councilor of the city of Stuttgart and from 1920 to 1924 a member of the DDP in the state parliament of the free people's state of Württemberg . In the late 1920s she was chairwoman of the Association of Württemberg Women's Associations and chairwoman of the administrative board of the girls' high school in Stuttgart. From 1930 she moved to Zurich.

Ehni found her final resting place in the family grave at the forest cemetery in Stuttgart .
