Ellerbach (noble family)
Ellerbach is the name of an already extinct noble family that existed as knights in Swabia and Austria from the 12th to the 16th century .
history
The gender has been traceable since the 12th century. It was not related to the von Ellenbach family.
One of the family members was the Bishop of Augsburg, Burkhard von Ellerbach .
The male line died out on August 7, 1570 with the death of Eitel Hans von Ellerbach zu Laupheim . Her inheritance fell to the von Ulm family . This took over the coat of arms of Ellerbach when it was raised to the baron class.
Among other things, the most was Schwarzenbacher Schlossberg standing Burg Schwarzenbach ( Hungarian : Feketevár ) for several decades in the possession of the pledge Ellerbachs.
