Elliot Scott
Elliot Scott (born July 19, 1915 in London , † October 29, 1993 in Hillingdon , Middlesex ) was a British film architect .
Life
Wllitiot Scott began his career in 1954 with the television series The Vise and with the film A Kingdom for a Woman (1955). Until 1976 he worked as an art director, then as a production designer. He was a key figure in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's English office in Borehamwood . His last work was Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989).
He was nominated for an Oscar three times for his work : first in 1965 for the film Only for Officers , 1977 for The Incredible Sarah and 1989 for Bad Game with Roger Rabbit . He was also nominated for the BAFTA Film Award for the final production design.
His son Stephen Scott is also a production designer, including for Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom with his father and for the two Hellboy films.
